Coventry, England - May 23, 2016

Hey everyone!

Oh my goodness time has flown by! I'm literally shocked! This week was really good. We went on exchanges with the sisters from Peterborough and they are so sweet. It was a lot of fun. We found some way cool people too. Oh man, and we had the funniest thing happen...so we were going to see our investigator at his flat and I have only been there like twice so I didn't really remember which one it was but I had a rough idea. And so we went up to the building we thought he lived in. Well the buttons outside the door to call him was broken so we couldn't use those and he wasn't answering his phone so we were wondering how we are going to get in. Well  our investigator lives on the bottom floor of this building so we could kind of see in his window but there are bushes in front of it so we couldn't reach it. So sister filoso (the girl I was on exchange with) and I start throwing pebbles at his window. And then all the sudden we saw the curtains close. We were like what?! Answer us, man! So we found a long enough stick to reach his window and we started knocking on his window with it. All the sudden this girl comes out and was like "what are you guys doing?" And we were like "we are looking for Bill". Then she tells us that bill doesn't live there. We were so confused and were pretty
convinced that he did in fact live there. So we were like "um, no we think he definitely lives here." She tells us again that he doesn't and then we start looking around and figure out that we are at the
wrong building and he is the next one over! So we were just knocking on this random girls window! Hahaha oh my days it was hilarious! We felt so bad after. But we laughed soooo hard! And then went and threw pebbles at bill's window and he came out and we were able to teach him:)

Other than that it was a crazy busy week with ups and downs. But we had miracles! Bill put himself on a date for June 4!! So hopefully he will get baptised that day! And we met some of the coolest people that could really go far in the gospel. So I'm definitely looking forward to this next week!

Well love you all and hope to you have a great week!

Coventry, England - May 9, 2016

Hey everyone!

So it was so good to see my family when we skyped on Mother's Day! Crazy to think i will be home seeing everyone in just a few weeks.

This week was good. We were able to go to another zone and help the sisters there in their area. Those sisters are super sweet, but one just had surgery so they couldn't really work so it was good we were able to go work in that area and help them a tiny bit.

So in this area it is really fun because every morning the whole district gets together and plays football for exercise. Then on Saturdays we play football from 11-1 too with investigators and
members.

Other than that it was a good solid week of teaching some awesome people. Good things are happening and I can't wait to see where they go!

Love you all! Hope you have a great week!

Coventry, England - May 2, 2016

Hey everyone!

So this week was crazy. On Monday I got called to be a sister training leader for my last transfer. So I will help other sisters in a couple zones and give training and things like that. I moved to Coventry
which is an amazing area. There are so many cool people here ready to receive the gospel. I am really happy to be here!

So I was supposed to move to Coventry on Tuesday. But on Monday night we went over to a members house and apparently the food was not cooked all they way or had gone off a little bit or something because I food poisoning and was sick until Friday! Presidents wife said she thinks I had salmonella. It was not a pretty illness. But I finally moved on Thursday and got to Coventry. So it all ended up well.

We have been teaching loads of people and I have met some way cool members. I love it here already and it feels like I have been here for years. It's already home haha :)

Hope you all have a great week! Love ya all!

Cardiff, Wales - April 18, 2016

Hey everyone!

So this week was so intense! It was a mission wide challenge week and every day we got three challenges to complete. But randomly throughout the week another challenge would be added on called the "presidents challenge".  A few examples are... Touch ten cats. give a member 3 book of Mormons and have them write their testimony and then give them out. Take selfies with seven random people. Commit two people to be baptised in one day. Teach 6 lessons, restoration, plan of salvation, gospel of Jesus Christ, and 3 other lessons and then 1 member you've never met before, teach them the restoration. Find 2 new families, have a member pray about a street and then tract it. Have a Dance off with random people. Find 2 part member families. 2 member stop bys. 4 potentials. Use family history to find new people. 2 new investigators. 2 referrals received and contacted. Have someone draw a portrait of you on a card you give them. So it was pretty random stuff. It was cool though because it took a ton of work. It was probably one of the biggest learning opportunities on my mission. It taught me so much of different ways to teach and find. I'm so glad that I got to be here for it! We saw miracles from trying so hard and got 9 new investigators this week! We taught more than we have in a few weeks as well! Heavenly Father is definitely blessing us.

Well I love you all! Have a great week! Xxxx

Cardiff, Wales - April 4, 2016

Hey hey hey! This week was pretty good. Some highs and lows. But I'll give you the whole week so you guys know what's going on!

Monday- we went and played basketball all day at the stake centre. Oh my goodness it was sooo fun! I hadn't played that hard in a while so it felt way good to get back out and play.

Tuesday- we taught Mehdi. We taught him a couple times before but then he kinda dropped out. but this time was legit! We put him on a baptismal date so everyone pray for him! And then later that night an investigator invited us to come to her church and wow....it was really different haha. It was a good experience and everyone was really nice. But I am grateful for the restored gospel I know and love!

Wednesday- we did some member stop by's and it was good. We stopped by this really cute family in the ward and the mom was just getting out of the car and trying to get her kids in the house. It was great because we were able to go and help her get them in the house and help make lunch for the children. Then we helped her tidy up and vacuum and do dishes and things like that. It was a good bit of unplanned service. And right as we left we were stopping by a referral she gave us, but ran into a really cool former investigator instead! So it was a great miracle.

Thursday- had district meeting and taught Moein. Oh he's the best! It was cool to hear him bear his testimony in keeping the sabbath day holy (which we were teaching him). He is a great example to me!

Friday-we went penarth and got three referrals from some members there! It was sweet!! Up to this point referrals have been a rare thing in my mission, but miracles are happening lately. We also met
the funniest less active lady ever named boonadette. Ah bless her heart she is so sweet! We shared the resto video with her and she loved it so that is good.

Saturday and Sunday- watched general conference!! Highlight of my week! It was sooo good. This is the most I've ever gotten out of conference. I loved the women's conference about service. It really
touched my heart how much Heavenly Father loves us and how we can help others feel that same love through helping them. And then just got answers to so many questions I had been praying about. I really feel so spiritual fed and filled I just want to go out to the world and do good! Haha it's the best feeling ever! Smiling Face with Halo

Well I love you all! Have a great week!
