Cheltenham, England - July 27, 2015

Hello everyone!

So this week has been amazing! We taught and found some awesome people! So we were weekly planning which takes forever but this time we finished just like 15 minutes early which didn't give us enough time to go out to a good spot to find, but we didn't want to waste time so we just decided we would go outside our flat and see if people walk by. Right before we left our flat we prayed that we would get a new investigator in these few minutes. So we went outside and There was this one guy. His name is josh and it was pretty much one of the most solid lessons about the restoration ever. So then we got a return appointment and BOOM new investigator :) it was a total miracle! The Lord really watches out for us! Then a while back we got this potential that was pretty cool but we didn't think too much about her. Called a few times but it didn't work. So then we ran in to her on the street and I recognised her so we got to talking and she was way legit!! So we met with her and got her on a baptismal date. then the next day she came to a baptism the elders in our area had and she just naturally blended in with the ward! It was so sweet to see. Then she came to church the next day and met even more people. We taught her again and we are going to see her later tonight so she is progressing so well. She loves it! She already said she has received a witness that the Book of Mormon is true. She told us after our first lesson she went to get on the bus to go home and just started crying. That is the miracle of the Holy Ghost working wonders! :) can't wait to see her grow more in the gospel! Make sure you pray for her! Her name is Kimberly. She is 29 and a super sweetheart.

Cheltenham, England - July 20, 2015

Hello everyone! Sorry I don't have too much time to write this week. It has been crazy as people and I have been moved around a lot and there have been some emergency transfers. Everything is going well with us though. this week we felt a lot of pressure coming from our leaders to strengthen our numbers. There are some definite miracles that happened. So even though it was tough we saw the benefit of pushing ourselves. This next week we have some great people to stop by and to visit. Especially this investigator named Josh. It was a miracle that we even found him. He was definitely an answer to prayer. We will be teaching on Wednesday and hopefully committing him to baptism. Love you all!

Cheltenham, England - July 6, 2015

Hey so I have some big news! I'm training!! The new missionary will come in to the mission field Wednesday. I'm so nervous! But I am really excited too! :)  It will be the first time I am senior companion. I was totally shocked when I got the call.

Meeting the mission president was super awesome! He is so cool and I am super excited to work with him! :)

So this week I noticed how we weren't going anywhere and not making much progress so I decided to set a lot of goals for myself. They are tough goals but I am more determined than ever to achieve them. Already we have seen progress. This new transfer really is like a completely fresh start because it will be a brand new missionary, a brand we mission president and a brand new transfer. I can't wait! I seriously feel happier than ever and even though these goals I set for myself will be tough to achieve I know hey are the ones the Lord wanted me to set and it has helped so much. Not because I am really doing it, but because he Lord is helping me so much and supporting me more an ever. I am trusting Him more than ever as well, and it feels so good! Seriously, I am enjoying the work even though it is tough and I am soooo happy!

Can't wait to see what happens next! :) love you!

Love,

Sister Rasmussen :)
